What Does this transvaginal Ultrasound Result Mean?
Please see below test results. My dr wants to wait 1 month and follow up with another transvaginal ultra sound. I have been worried sick If it s cancer. I have PCOS, I have sideways had irregular menstrual cycles. I haven t had a period for 3 months. Finally started yesterday. These results were done on the 16th of November. Could it be possible that s this is just a hemorrhagic cyst? Or should I be me concerned? I am 33/no kids/no family history of cancer. RESULTS Normal-sized uterus with moderately thickened endometrial stripe as discussed above. 4.3 cm complex cystic mass in the right ovary could represent a hemorrhagic cyst. Appearance less typical for endometrioma. Sonographic followup to ensure resolution recommended to exclude neoplastic process. Unremarkable appearance of the left ovary.
